Uploading content to ContentFries is a straightforward process designed to enhance your experience. This article guides you through the steps to upload content efficiently.

Steps to Upload Content:

  1. Initiating the Upload:

    • Using the Upload Button:

      • Navigate to your dashboard.

      • Click on the “Upload new content” button.

    • Using Drag and Drop:

      • Simply drag and drop your files anywhere on the dashboard to initiate the upload.

  2. Selecting the Upload Type:

    • After initiating the upload, choose between:

      • Multiply Content: Select this option if you want to repurpose the content in the trimmer. By choosing this option, your content will get uploaded as a "Potato" and you can use its text transcription or AI to generate multiple "Content Fries".

      • Contextualize: Choose this if you want to create content for social. By choosing this option, your content will get uploaded as a "Content Fry" and you can use the context editor to add various overlays including animated subtitles, progress bar, gifs and more.

  3. Uploading via Link:

    • Alternatively, you can upload content by pasting a link.

    • Simply paste the URL of the content you wish to upload.

  4. Finalizing Your Upload:

    • Choose Language: Select the language of your content from the available options. You can also skip the automatic transcription or upload a subtitle file.

    • Select Folder: Optional - Decide where to store your content by choosing the appropriate folder.

    • Add Contexts: Pick at least one platform or format of your content. This way ContentFries will help you craft contextual content for the platform of your choice.

    • Complete the Process: Review your choices and click the button to finalize the upload.
